it seems that contest/give aways are the "thing to do". I havent participated in any contests, but I though I would sponser a contest, and see how things go.

the contest is simple. a game of high/low. the number to guess is the milage on my work vehicle.

obvioulsy no one has any reason to know what the mileage is, so when anyone guesses a number - I will simply give a high or low, response, thus narrowing the number until someone gets the exact number.

eg: someone guesses 50,000. I say your low. the next person guesses 60,000, if I say your high then the answer is between 50,000 - and 60,000. (the example is not the actual number.

i have owned and used the vehicle since april, 2004. I use it daily. if anyone asks for hints I will try to give accurate responses as long as they dont give the number away.

the actual milage has been photographed and stored, as of today.

the winner can have a choise of either of the two coins posted. I will mail it out - first class, not insured, in a padded mailing envelope, as soon as someone guesses the exact number.

i am only online to gespond after guesses, mornings, and briefly in the afternoons - weekedays, and usually saturday afternoon and sunday evening.

the contest could be over in a single guess (although not likely).

here are the coins to choose from.

Thought-I'd-Post-A-Contest.
