I know there are not many Greek collectors on this forum at this time, but I thought you might enjoy this coin just the same.

I find it rich with imagery and a nice example of a third century BC coin from Cyzicus, where coins were minted from early BC all the way into late Roman times.
Persephone--From-Kyzikos,-Mysia
The description I have found is....
obv. Head of Persephone...rev. KY-ZI, Tripod with tunny fish below. Sometimes a monogram is mentioned and sometimes described with a radiate sphere on the tripod.

Usually a laurel branch was placed on the top of the sacrificial tripod when not in use. I'm not sure what the radiate object means. Possibly some connection between the sky and earth.

My coin pictured here has the radiate sphere and appears to have a trident monogram. As of yet I have not found one with this mark. Some others have a plectrum monogram.

In researching the coin I've discovered a lot about Kyzikos, Persephone, sacrificial tripods and tunny fish. All the images on the coin. Still have a lot to learn and still working on the monograms.

Here a a couple of interesting links.
