I paid $25 for a roll of 40 buffalos when I first started out on ebay and they were all dateless. I also paid for a coin lot that had a chance for "gold coinage" and what I got in the mail was one of those mini St. Gaudens replica electroplated gold coins. They listed me as one of their "big winners".

I'll tell you how thousands of people are getting taken ever day. The postage/packaging prices. Outrageous! Always check all of the postage terms before you bid on anything. Just an FYI.

I bought six rolls of silver dollars advertised as original bank wrapped and received rolls in a different (non bank) wrapper than what was photographed of dollars cut from PL sets and some taken from circulation . This is when I first started and was one of my first ebay buys when I was in Vancouver. I wrote the seller and got nowhere so instead of making a big deal out of it, I just waited two weeks until the company sent me St. Johns and literally showed up at his door.

Let's just say he was surprised to see a large, very ugly man (who lived all the way across the continent) standing outside his front door holding a bag of silver dollars like they were about to be placed somewhere uncomfortable.

I got my money back.

Feedback my ugly butt.
