Key Descriptive Title Words That Get Auction Attention

oih82w8 Pillar of the Community United States 7840 Posts	Posted 12/19/2011 1:17 pm I am sure that it is not just me, but eBay-ers seem to have hit a lull in activity, which is good for buyers...not so good for sellers. I have started using the word SILVER in all of my title descriptions and it has gotten more hits than without. I have used "problem free" if it is TPG and does not have any "Details" or "Cleaned" or "Scratched", etc... on the label. Have you any success with "attraction" words in your titles? biokemist6 Bedrock of the Community United States 12437 Posts	Posted 12/19/2011 1:53 pm With the increase in auction title characters, you should add all of the pertinent searchable terms in your title. Denomination, type, year, and mintmark should be the minimum you use. Metal content, particularly with PMs, is good to note as well as using "US COIN" in the title. Make sure to add any other important attributes- die variety type, toning, and even a grade(G, VG, F, VF, etc is fine as long as it is not a numerical grade). Avoid things like "L@@K" and "Monster Rainbow Toning", that description does apply to a few choice coins but is horribly overused on ebay and frequently used to describe AT coins Report this Post to the Staff
