Hi everyone! I thought it would be interesting for everyone to post a picture of something cool you found including where you found it. I'll start with a 1772 British half-penny that I dug up in Rexton New-Brunswick.

My best so far is this 4 kopecks Livoesthonica silver from 1757. They were specially struck for Estonian and Livland territories by Russian empire for only two years. These coins had more silver in them than the coin was actually worth when they circulated so making these was harmful to the country and striking was quickly stopped. All coins from this series are rare. I sold this for 283 euros.

Years ago my mother bought me a cheapo Radio Shack metal detector. I broke it out and blew the dust off it, then decided to hit my back yard this morning. I figured I would try to re-famaliarize myself with it and see if I had any hidden treasure under my feet. Buried in the yard, I found a 1999-D Georgia quarter, 1991-D Lincoln Cent, and what so far is testing as a silver antique-ish pill box type container. How a silver container got out there is beyond me. I'll check the other half of the yard tomorrow.
