Thats funny you asked because I was looking for the same thing a few days ago. I found an old link here on CCF where someone posted an excel example that they used. As far as real 'freeware', I couldn't find any. I'm sticking with excel. Here is the link to what I found: http://www.flyte.name/pages/cotd/index.htm

I hope that helps. Notice towards the bottom he has some different graphs and what not.

I've never found anything worthwhile for free, so I created my own in Excel and I have been using it for years. That way I can custom it to anything that I want. You can have different sheets for different denominations or sets and then have a summary page to tally it all together. Each year, I take the data from my summary sheet and record it on a separate page, so I can see the changes year over year. Mainly to see how it is growing. It is manual though for current values and that part is what it really lacks and can be quite cumbersome, so I don't do it every year. There is a way to automate some of it by using formulas for the bullion items, though.

I'm going to search for that other person's Excel file and compare it, since that link you posted, isn't an Excel file.

This site has an Excel file:
http://uscollectacoin.com/us-collec...wnload-page/

It does nice inventory for most coins from 1878 and on. It doesn't have commemoratives, gold coins, or notes.

It seems the free solution is to use Excel and tailor it to your needs.
