There are many types, and this is the best I found while roll searching. I really don't know if the doubled '979' with a rotated die (shown below) is one of the more difficult ones to find. I'm guessing it's very common.
I purchased $25.00 of original bank rolls of this date 1979 from those rolls I kept 10 coins and had them graded 1 x ms-67, 9 x ms-66. I kept 1 DP 79, 1 extra metal on leaf, 2 with dot after 1st 9, 1 DP obverse the front of Queens face and all the legend, the rest where regular coins with no errors.
Crockett: You just made me re-search a whole jar of pennies for that nose doubling. Thanks a lot! lol Found a grand total of 3 in different dates. 1967, 1978, 1979.
