I went through $50 of 10c looking for 72, 77, 85, 91, 97.
I found
1 * 72
5 * 77
0 * 85
2 * 91
1 * 97

The third coin in your picture just looks worn to me.

The word "Noodling" in the title caught my attention so I read this thread. Would someone down under there please tell this curious Yank what the Australian definition is? It obviously doesn't have the same meaning as it does around here. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Noodling Thanks!

from a newb, its searching for error or rare date coins, in money obtained for that purpose, ie, I started of getting 2x$2 roles of 5 cent pieces, then searched through all those to find any low mintage or error coins, I found a couple so kept them, and went from there, next week I will buy $25 to search through. but I an sure someone can explain it better than me.

We also use the Term Noodling for finding above ground opal on mullock heaps. Same thing as coin noodling really, searching through what others have thrown out in the hope of finding something good they didnt see.

dont know if thats what we call it but it happens. 8 weeks back myself and 2 other disabled mates out for a sunday ride, watched a shop dump 8 cartons of drinks, we took them home. 3 weeks back the boy came home with enough cat food to last us another month for 2 cats from the same bin. when a new store target opened in town, within a month I was collecting half dead plants to revive and give away, they dumped em in the bin, silly buggers could of gave them to charity to give away or sell cheap.
