Hi, I found this coin (I'm guessing that it's a coin) a number of years back while metal detecting in the New Orleans area, and it's been sitting in my junk drawer ever since.

It's between a quarter and a half dollar in size, and is very thin. Any ideas? Thanks!

Well Tanka you very much!

I've found some odd coins over the years in that area, but this one takes the cake.

I really appreciate the ID.
