Hi,

I have specialized in error coins for almost 40 years. Here is a link to more than 2,050 error coin related photos.
You will find 10 albums with Danish, US, foreign, bimetal, token and medallion errors (all from my collection)
There are also pictures from my visits at the Danish Royal Mint and an album featuring my error coin exhibit at the Danish National Museum.

All comments and suggestions will be highly appreciated.

Kind regards,

Frank Vedel aka adanisherrorcollector

that's an amazing and inspirational collection Frank. Thank you.
Do you remember why you started collecting error coins? or your first one?

Thanks a lot for your kind remarks

I do remember my first error coin. The Danish 1 and 2 øre coins were withdrawn from circulation on April, 1 1973.
Like all other collectors I secured a lot of them, and going through them all to remove all the damaged coins and made sure that I had a variety of dates.
On September, 1 1972 I suddenly found a 2 øre 1942 with 180 degrees rotated dies.

Kind regards

What a great collection of errors!
I especially like the misspellings on the 1 Skilling coins.
I have a few die errors from Denmark--overdates.

Very cool collection! The only things I tend to collect in this area are clipped 1 cent coins and off-center $2 coins. The $2 coins are pretty easy to find but they are interesting just the same.
Rest in Peace

Nice collection, I was going to post some comments but a "pop-up" wanted to much access of my personal information prior to posting the message, I opted out of posting any messages... You have a nice collection and one of my favorite errors are multi-strikes... I have a number of posts here with some nice errors... I wanted to ask you if you checked the following Lincoln errors for the type 2 reverse (also known as the WAM) on your 1998, 1999 and 2000 Cents (USA)...
I also have a large World Error collection posted on facebook that shows some unique errors that I posted to help with one of my granddaughter's college education (she's only 6 years old and I thought i'd give it time before I push the facebook page), if fact my handle "Broken-Coin" is what she calls the error coins...
