Looks like a high grade bill. Assuming its authentic, I could see it in the $500 - $1000 range. What's that series of #'s by washingtons head, a sheet # or something?

All I know is I like it! Nice bill! 😳😁'

Nice foldover error note... The sheet had folded after the first print and the third printing printed the serial numbers over the fold... My guess in value would be between $300 to $500 range gem condition...

Any ideas as to what the series of #'s next to washingtons head is?

Wow! That sure looks like a four-figure error to me. Keep it flat and protected, out of light and cool. Get a mylar holder for it, should cost a buck or less.

You could have it slabbed for the sake of a grade, but the bottom line is that it's a unique error, so a grade really makes no difference.

Thanks for the advice, I keep it in a plastic protector in a safe. It really is in pristine condition. I've been offered $1000 for it. I just not sure I'm ready to sell.
Rest in Peace

Nice note. Priced a little high ( my opinion only). Good luck with it.

No one has addressed the numbers showing at Washington's head mentioned earlier. Could you post a closer pic of that area?

You may want to get the note authenticated. Something does not seem right with your note. If you do a negative image on nyour note and on another one dollar note you will notice quite a few differences. Just a suggestion. And no I am not accusing anyone of anything just a observation on my part.

spring423, how can you say it is priced too high, when I have not even said how much it is, or if it is actually for sale. Also, if you're insinuating it's counterfeit post your proof rather than "just a suggestion".

I've had it for many years, it was given to me by my dad.

prybob, sorry, as for the numbers. I assume they refer to sheet numbers. I assume this bill was on the upper right corner of the sheet.

All I was saying is if you do a negative image of your note and another note you will see differences. As far as priced to high you're saying that was not your note on ebay for sale for 3,999.00. If not someone hijacked your photos. If you would like I can post the auction number.
