Mr. BadThad. thanks for the constructive comment. how do I adjust the camera to control the image size. or do I control the image size - after the photo is taken. photoshop or something like that. I do have a photobucket account, but I do not know how to control the image size. thanks in advance for any information.

if your camera has different quality settings you need to bump up the quality. if not then you can change the image size in Photoshop but it might be blurry.

Set your camera to maximum mega-pixels (mine goes to 12m) and set the quality to Fine. This should result in a larger image of the cent (kind of like zooming in). Then crop your image to just larger than the cent. Next, resize down to 800 or 600 pixels it you need to. For a smaller file size, save as jpg at 90% compression.

What Tim said...I used PaintShopPro to resize my pics. It's cheap and excellent software, well worth the money
This old version 7 works GREAT on any Windows OS, it's what I'm using:

My cam is only 6MP and the largest size for me is 2816x2112. That resolution usually works out well for me. I can usually just tell PSP to resize to 800x600 and I'm done. If I'm not lazy and I crop, 800x800 but it usually calls for a couple more downsizes to fit under 100k.

I should also mention, you can use the forum resize tool.
