How do these grade, or do they even bother grading these coins.

Bad angle of the reverse, it's not as bad as the pic makes it look.

I kinda like the rainbow look on some coins.

Im not 100% sure one this but I think they grade the same an normal coins. Some people love toned coins.

I think an ugly tone can lower the grade?

I agree LG. Toning must be spectacular on top of a spectacular cent. Otherwise ...

I think au58 RB is a good call, I also think I see the corrosion tim is talking about.

It is either corrosion or dirt under the right hand side of the Memorial.

There is also some more of the same, in between the letters above the Memorial.

If it is dirt, a gentle use of a toothpick can clean it off safely.
