Hello,

Edit: FYI I have been cherry-picking on and off for about a month and have a small collection, and really enjoy learning about coins and finding rare ones, which I never have.

I am new to the forum, so if I sound inexperienced, it is because I am.
I just found this coin in my change and noticed that it was struck off center and has a slight ridge as though it were stamped twice. Also the bottom left portion of the G in "GOD" has rounding, doubling around Roosevelt, and doubling in the lettering on the back of it.

I know a little bit about doubling and would like to know what this would be classified as. I don't have the best camera so I will try and put better pictures up.

You have a rim all the way around, so I dont think it is an off center. I think it may be that the collar didnt make it around the edge of the coin either at all or too late (I cant remember the proper term for this to save my life) and you got some metal squishing out the edge. Is the edge completely reeded like it should be?

I agree with the (very)slight off centered but can not see any doubling.

It is reeded all of the way around. I am starting to think that the doubling is very minor or if it would even be considered doubling at all and it is just a really hard strike or something if that is even possible.

I used to find a lot of these when searching during this era. I think they are interesting. No real clue what causes this but I never found doubling. I just thought they were off center but no one seemed too interested. I still kept some of them.

Is it just me or is there a major die chip encompassing Roosevelt's earlobe?
