There are heaps of different varieties of the "bicentenary medals" I have seen a few on ebay for education and other things, they all have the Australia map and wording on one side and a different picture on the back.

I found your one on the Victoria museum page; it has the history of the coin

AC are they all the realy big ones or are they $5 or $1 coin size?

On ebay they don't really tell you?

But the museum site tells you,
Dimensions: 50 mm (Diameter)
Weight: 61.58 g (Weight)

Did further looking and the others are 40mm or 32mm, yours is the only 50mm sized type around, do you have the box with it.

Anyway I have no idea what the other medal is, do you have any clues?
