Hi,

I have not been able to find any similar coin/medal on the Internet despite several sites with excellent photographs. The left facing profile on the obverse is of a young king. The reverse has no drawing or picture, no English and no Roman numerals. I have no picture: my little Samsung S860 is not up to it. Diameter is 22mm. Please advise.

Without seeing a picture it's hard to say for sure, but here is a link to Thailand's Kings Birthplace. Hope this helps.

If it's brassy rather than bronze, then a good candidate sounds like the 50 satang dated 1980, or perhaps the 25 statang 1977. Otherwise, it might be a medal of some kind.
