Dear Friends, I value what you say to my Post very much.I found a 1958 Penny and it looked kinda funny to me.Just something about it didnt feel normal.I visit LCR's site (daily) and from there I get to see the Pic of the DDO of 1958 a lot and whole lot more pictures as well of RPM,etc.I took a Scanned pic via HP scanner of this Penny.And,....Licnlon has 2 Chins!

Just the Facts that you can see from this pic.1.Lincolns chin is roundish and FAT in comparison to other Regular 1958's.A regular 1958 Lincolns chin is facing downward and less fat then mine.I see a CLEAR dividing line between the Original and the ADDED on CHIN.

2.I see a I placed on the Letter B's in Liberety Begining of B.Its right on top of it.A simple 3x Magnifier, shows a clear lift of the I on the B.

3.You may be able to see L on the L in Leberty. The Glint of the other L tips cut-off-Point shows more in the Digital Camera Image but the Chin-Dounbling is more shadowy in that.

4.The DDO listed on LCR's site shows doubling in Letter not the FACE of Linclon from what I see.My 1958 shows the CHIN doubling Clearly.
5.There is Glint/fattness in lincolns eyelids, and Glint on the Tip of Lincolns nose, you might be able to see via this pic.

As you already know, the 1958 DDO is #1 on the MOST WANTED LIST of DDO's.Well,friends....I look foward to your advise. If this shows HOPE to you of being a DDO,I'll go ahead and take it step further and get a Microscope Crystal Clear pictures taken.

God Bless,
Beck,
Kissimmee FL

PS:The 2000Wide AM,my previous post. The pic was taken via a scanner too,and its ANGLE does not show clearly the seperation of the AM letters. But,please Trust me,It is WIDE OPEN AM.Whatsmore....I just got a 1998 Wide AM,a bit of Grease on it,but shinney with nice Zinc coating.I wish it was a 1999.

And where di you come up with that fact ? Just wondering.

Remember, a doubled die has to match what is shown on the listing like Coppercoins to be die #1 or whatever. If there is doubling elsewhere, then it is a different die. Can't really tell anything from these pics.

I zoomed your pic and don't see any doubling. A better photo would help a lot.

CONECA says that 58's are known for master die doubling on the 8....no premium.

PS... cant see anything with your pictures.....you need to get a digital camera...not a cell phone.
