Hi SB and welcome to the forum! You've got plenty of friendly company here and loaded with knowledge and expertise to bust those who peddle forgeries.

Could you send us an active hyperlink to the website? Kinda hard to click onto the jpeg. I'd be interested in reading more about this group and how estatedoctor came to join it - a wolf among the sheep.

It's a private group here.

I guess maybe it's not no surprising, the doc could teach the group a lot about forgeries.

The ebay Group CoinForgeryeBay http://groups.ebay.com/forum.jspa?f...ID=100037396 can be joined and I may do it using an alias ID. I know the Group founder and chief moderator who is a dedicated fraud buster. I'm certain he's aware he has King of the Frauds among the Group. My curiosity is piquing. I'm guessing estatedoctor joined to see what others are saying about him - nothing good, of course.

Many thanks for the tip, SB!

Here's a couple of directs quote from Alan, from a thread in the ebay coin forum:

quote:
estatedoctor on ebay (Irvin) is now a posting member of the CFE, and we are in negotiations to attempt to resolve our differences of opinion with that seller. I suggest that ebay staff should not interfere with this process, and wait and see if we can resolve these differences internally within the ebay numismatic community.

quote:
It is my opinion, if estatedoctor does not reach any agreement with us, and does not submit to the opinion of any expert neutral third party about the authenticity of their coins, then that will demonstrate culpability. That is, this will be relevant in any felony prosecutions for fraud.

I'll not be sharing my opinion of this matter in a forum which caters to a general audience.
Rest in Peace

I joined CFE, read all the posts to and about estatedoctor (both Jim and Pam), and made a post of my own... only to find out he/they have already apparently left CFE. Guess they couldn't stand the heat.

estatedoctor's responses to all the negative posts were so in character for the couple: they are so innocent, it's never their fault, the buyer is a nutcase who never paid or never sent any messages; and they did their usual threats of lawsuits and accusations of harassment... which they deserve.

I imagine it's tough being the most hated seller in ebay numismatics.
