Surprise, surprise. I bought another one  . This is my very first Crispus, and also my second London mint coin (I happen to be partial towards them). RIC VII 275 Obv: CRISPVS NOBIL C, helmeted and cuiraissed bust left Rev: BEATA TRANQILITAS, altar with VOT/TIS/XX, PLON in ex. London mint, 323-324 AD (Seller's pic - I'll post my own when I get it)  20.17mm, 2.91 grams Edited by VisigothKing 01/05/2012 5:57 pm

Note when cataloging yours is the variety BEAT TRA***NQLITAS (no I between Q and L).

I knew something was off afterwards when I didn't see an A after BEAT (for "BEATA"), but I hadn't noticed the variety you indicated. Thanks everyone for your comments!

That's a nice Crispus coin with good details. That's one emperor that I do not have yet, among many more.

Thanks gil-galad. Yeah, I'm missing many emperors as well, a lot of the common ones especially, strangely enough.

Arrived today! A very nice coin in hand as you can probably see.  (Actually decided to photograph this one in the sunlight - I am pretty pleased with how it came out)

The details are nice on that coin as I said before. Is it also that dark in hand?
I don't own any London coins yet, perhaps in the future.
