I find it useful to weed out the buyers who will offer something ridiculous like $15 on a coin I have up for $100. I usually put it lower than I am willing to take, but high enough that I can negotiate with them especially if I'm able to do it without fees. Something around 45-60% of the BIN. Anything below that, there usually doesn't seem to be room.

I don't get that many unreasonable offers though, surprisingly. It's a letdown to see messages in your inbox and hope for good offers, then to see nonsense...so that's partly why I do it. But I went through the coins to check the actual offers, and while a few did have extreme lowballs, it wasn't many compared to the more reasonable offers I received.

I do not use auto decline at all and will just decline people who make unreasonable bids I don't get to many of those anyways.

I have before but don't use BIN listings much anymore bacause of limited success with them.

When I did put auto-decline on a coin it was for low-ball offers only (reject offers of half the coins value or less). I'd usually tie it into an auto-accept at 90% of the BIN price. Offers in th 50% to 90% range could then be reviewed, accepted, counter-offered, etc.

That makes sense about the 90%, less effort since youre just going to accept it anyway.
