I am thinking of posting an ad in the coin trade section, but I would not be averse to someone purchasing it as well. I know no purchases are allowed there, hence this question: Would it be within forum rules to say something along the lines of "will trade for x, or if you would like to purchase please PM me and I will put it in the for sale section?"

thanks!

Offer it in the For Sale section with a Pocket It Now price, and mention in the copy that you're willing to trade as well. If you have a *specific* trade desire, the trader can use Pocket It Now to do a trade. If you prefer a trade, include language stating that an emailed trade offer will trump a PIN that happens after the trade email is sent. Any reasonable buyer will understand.

This is by way of preparing you, and others to follow, for the day when we integrate all CCF commerce into the Buy/Sell section. That day is coming.
