curious what this would grade @ I got this in a mint set, that I had ordered outta the "littleton coin company "clipper magazine as a kid.
Also the obverse appears to be showing through on the back, and the detail seems to be a bit weak on the back strike.

Worth it to send this into NGC for grade and slab?

Where are you seeing the obv. on the rev. ?
If so, it may be a die clash. Looks Unc. to me.
Might make MS62 at best. The weak details seem normal
to me on this coin. The rev. looks pretty good. Obv.
has a few hits in the face area. That will keep the grade
no higher than a 62 . Not worth a slab in my opinion.
Check around to see what they have sold for in the MS 60 to 62
range and go from there. You could always list it on here at the auction forum when you are able to if you wish.

You are right, there is a clash easily seen on the back. I've seen a lot of these so I wouldn't expect a premium. Certainly not worth a slab, especially with the nick on her cheek. Thats IMO. I still have quite a few of these I picked out of change when they were discovered.

It's a nice near date but not in a high enough grade to have slabbed. The reverse IMO is not a die clash, but a worn out die.
