I have this pottery that I found at a garage sail and it is made in chinese but I have no idea on the year and I know that a lot of you specialize in coins from china and could perhaps give me a date on this or the meaning of the chinese characters. Thanks in advance.

An antiquities/collectables forum would be more likely to give you dating information on pieces like this. As far as I can tell, the Chinese inscription says the same as what the English inscription does: "Made in China".
