This is not my auction, and I did place a bid at about $20 (not a series I collect, so I'm out of the bidding)... but I've never had a problem with a Hallmark (Q.David Bowers old company) graded coin. This looks like a nice toner and as a PQ it might be FBL (or it could be PQ because of the toning, who knows)... might be a nice pickup that slips through the cracks.

I don't get it. I have a blazing half with full bell lines and all its original luster. Not so much as a single hit anywhere on it. Its the same year and mint as this coin and I doubt I could ever get the bid as high if I put it on ebay. Personally, I would not pay much over spot for this coin if I had the oppertunity to buy it on the street. As for my blazer, I paid a dealer $10 for it in 2009. It was one of those very rare occasions that I did buy a coin from a dealer. It was an impulse buy based on the fact that it was the most perfect Franklin I had ever seen, and it was only $10.

Trust me fellas, a Hallmark PQ coin is top of the grade. Lee Bellisario, who founded Hallmark, was one of the original graders for PCGS and he known high end coins and knows how to grade. You will almost never be disappointed buying one of their slabs. If this were my series, $40 is a low price for it.
