I picked up this 1909-s on the cheap. I need it to fill a spot in my Dansco but don't know much about corroded coins. I don't have perfect examples but am trying to get the best bang for my buck (don't have a large budget for coins). Will this get worse? Is there something I can do to keep the coin from getting worse? Should I try to sell it and get back my money and use on a nicer coin? Open to any suggestions on what I can do to help this poor coin.

All you can it to halt the corrosion process. Unfortunately, it has already ravaged the coin and then someone harshly cleaned it.....too bad. Rinse it with some acetone and put it into an airtite holder. That will essentially halt the corrosion process.

What kind of value remains on this coin? As I mentioned I got it pretty cheap but don't want to sit on a coin if there is no value in it. This is all still new for me some any information would be much appreciated.
