Hi there. I have been sitting on these coins since I inherited them some years ago. Any info on these would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.
Will

These three are dated 1897, 1900 and 1902. They measure approximately 20mm wide.

These are 1/2 sovereigns, they are worth at least 130 pounds a piece.

What can I say, nice inheritance!

For this type of coins you can figure out where they were minted. The mintmark (a letter) sits on the ground line above the center of the date. The absence of a mintmark means it was struck in London.

There was no half sovs coming from London in 1897. It should be either M (Melbourne) or S (Sydney)

Both 1900 and 1902 could be done either in UK or Australia, M, S, and also P (Perth).
