Intercept Holders- My Dumb Question For Now

SFDukie Pillar of the Community United States 980 Posts	Posted 05/13/2005 6:57 pm How does one avoid pressing on the coin to get the dark "holder sleeve" around the edge of the coin? I've been told that one should place the coin on a hard surface, fold the dark insert, in half, place one edge of the insert around coin, lower the other edge, and use the insert to pick the coin up. Makes sense, except a) I'm left with a slightly unsightly fold in the insert, and b) more importantly, for dimes, the coin is so thin relative to the insert that it isn't "centered" front to back. zakgold Valued Member United States 382 Posts	Posted 05/13/2005 8:49 pm First...do not exhale/cough/spit when you handling the coin. Tiny water vapors can later cause havoc with your coin. Literally, I hold my breath and am very careful not to have a hayfever snezzing fit. I use a soft flip between my thumb and the coin to carefully "push" the coin into my Intercept Shield. It doesn't take hardly any pressure, but I find a new soft flip works fine. I don't fold them as you are right, it does leave an ugly crease. Works for me! Report this Post to the Staff
