So being the coin roll hunter I am, I'm always going to different banks in my area of Toronto and seeing what they have in the way of pennies and other coinage. I've just recently started asking about old currency and had some luck with some 86 Knight-Thiessen UNC 5's.
Today I got $150 in crisp Journeys 10s (2008 issue I believe) that have a new serial designation. The serial is BFT. The reason I know this is because I wasn't familiar with the signatures (Jenkins-Casey) and decided to do a little research and found this out.
Oh and the sequentially numbered bills contained a repeater radar which I was kind of stoked about because to be honest, it was the first one I've ever gotten that I know of. (I kind of wonder how many have gone through my hands without me knowing) 5051505 is the serial number.
Anyways, just thought I'd share my story for those who enjoy the serial number aspect of bills.
