I have lots of family and friends in the states and I know lots of them hate getting Canadian coins. I am sure lots of Americans would be happy to trade you Canadian for US coins. Ask around... friends at school or work or anyone. I am sure they would love to dump their canadian change. I don't collect quarters - way too many modern ones for my liking, but I'm sure the other who do will speak up with more info for you. Haven't run into any trouble getting things, mostly just run into the odd higher shipping but overall it's just as easy to collect down here.
