And my vote is still for Seated coins. They have become more popular on this forum over the last year. Many, many new acquisitions and many folks purchasing their first Seated dollars over the last few months. I think you will get record participation.

I would like Seated coins as well, even tho I only have 2 of them in my collection.

Just so my suggestion does not get lost on the previous page. We have had four Seated topics already, while the one and only (but longest running) Barber thread stalled with Elbesaar's passing. I humbly suggest... "The 25 Days of Ba rber Coins - Act II (in memory of Elbesaar)"

Hi everyone!
First I owe you all an apology. I have been away for the last month without the internet and have been unable to communicate. It was horrible!
Secondly, I can't do the "Days of..."threads anymore. I just don't have the time. Plus, I sold the majority of my collection to fund a new business and I feel like a fraud posting pictures of coins I used to own that I don't anymore. I know selling the coins was the right decision but it really hurts my heart to see all your beautiful coins and know that most of mine are gone now.
I very much hope to get back into this wonderful hobby but right now I'm stepping back.
I'll visit the CCF when I can but will mostly stay in the background admiring.
Cheers my friends.

Sorry to hear that Moe145. The "Days of..." threads were always fun to read and participate in.
Hope you are able to return to the hobby of coin collecting soon.

Moe, it is sad to hear you have had to part with some treasures, but I do wish you the best and much success with your new endeavour. Would someone like to volunteer to be the ceremonial host from this point forward? The pay is non-existent and the fame is fleeting.

Quote: Would someone like to volunteer to be the ceremonial host from this point forward? I will certainly volunteer to be the host! I would really like to make sure the "Days of..." threads keep going. Quote: The pay is non-existent and the fame is fleeting. I will accept a pay of $0.00 weekly.

Thanks for all the fond memories of days of threads, Moe! Pop in from time to time... we will leave the light on for ya!
I would be happy to see Silver Dollar take over the responsibilities. Or if it's too burdensome for one person to handle, why not make it a community thing. I imagine it is tough for someone to host a DOT in a series they are not passionate about. So create a poll to see what series folks want to be showcased next. Then have an admin ask who wants to host it. First person that says yes gets to host it.

I like the idea of keeping this topic open for all to discuss what is next. We just need someone to make the actual Day of topic with the schedule (which can be copy-edited from previous runs), which is really the most difficult part of the job. Beyond that they run themselves. SilverDollar2017, feel free to make that Barber topic when you are ready.
