Well I cracked it open from the slab for my typeset book. I am very glad I bought this "cleaned" coin because the details are amazing for the price.

as long as you are happy with your purchase I don't think anyone would ever say you did the wrong thing because thats all that matters is that you are happy

what date/mm is the coin? I'd buy a coin like that in a heartbeat if the cleaning wasn't too harsh or distracting.

Ok here's the whole coin. Fields are dark because under the light cleaning, the fields are somewhat prooflike.

Yes indeed dog...... but if it wasn't cleaned .... chances are I would not own it.....

Still, to do that to such a beautiful coin was criminal......that strike is just amazing!
