Interesting topic bump.

Can you try using the Free Image Optimizer on your original photos and upload again?

Struggling with coin photography & uploading. I'm using Nikon coolpix900. Going through Lunapics.com to reduce to less than 300kb.Pictured top row; .81S MS63, '83 O BU( 2 of them), '84 O MS63. Middle row; '84 O MS63, '84 O BU(2 of them), '85 O(2 of them).Bottom row; '86 P MS63, '86P BU, '87 P MS64, 1887 P MS63(2 of these).

I have pics from my scanner, will try to post again later. What I like about Olathe Hoard Morgans is the history that in fact they were NEVER circulated. Much like the GSA CC Morgans. How many coins are graded Uncirculated that may have changed hands many times ? These Treasury bags sat in the vault for a century or more , then were slabbed & "graded" . Say what you will about TPG's , but these from NGC & the El Cazador NGC coins are among my best coins.

I do like the group shot.

Keep trying. I know you said you use Lunapics, but you should give our Free Image Optimizer a shot.

still a bit blurry , these pics from my scanner. Apparently, a coin laid flat on the glass is in clear focus, while in a slab holder, it is set back a bit & out of focus.

Yes, makes sense about the focus. On the bright side, you are making progress regarding size.

Hard to tell, but my conclusion is the Brilliant Uncirculated coins are no different than the MS63 NGC grades. Thoughts ?
