It's not actually a coin. It's an Islamic "good luck charm" type of piece from Southeast Asia - Malaysia or Indonesia, usually. In this thread is one with a similar design as well as links to a reference website with several more designs.

As for value, I don't think it's very high. They're still being made, apparently. Maybe a couple of dollars?
