Another nickel from my 'Coins I have not yet had time to study' stash: A 1954-S either S/S or S/D. This coin appears to be BU and has the weakest strike I have ever seen on a nickel.

This one is a little more difficult, I could not get a good picture of the MM. Something looks like it is under the 'S' could it be another 'S' or possibly a 'D.' There also appears to be something going on around the rim on the OBV and to a lesser extent, the REV.

Again, your thoughts on the coin grade and the MM, thanks!

Sorry I can't help you about the MM, but I just have to marvel at the weakness of the strike on this coin. I know 1954 is generally a weakly struck date, but this is just exceptional.

As for grade, it looks to be in mint state to me.
