Thank you for your help on my Tyche coin, which turned out to be a Commodus from Nicaea with obverse and reverse illustrated in "RecGen" (but not illustrated on the same coin).

Do you have any comments on this coin? I can't ID it beyond "barbarous". It is 26mm, 11.3g. Both sides seem to have the letters of CAESAR in random order. I really like the portrait, whatever it is.

This reminds me an Augustus coin I have that is either Gallic or Italian from around 38BC. It is no match, but the style is similar.
