I have a few old coins which I keep for no reason in particular, most of which are easily identifiable, but this one had me stumped for a while. After an hour or so on Google, I managed to identify it, but I've only seen one with the same date on as mine - 1937 the others have a V in the place where mine has a 7, which is 1938 I think. Anyway, I'm just wondering if anyone knows if it's worth anything at all? I'm not a coin collector who knows about coins, I just enjoy having a few lying around as I find it interesting - but as I say, know nothing about them. But right now we're selling anything we can as we are saving for a house (we live with people who argue a lot and we can't take it any more!)...so basically, just wanted to know it's value.
This is an Iraq 10 Fils coin from 1937. Catalog value is: F-$3, VF-$5.00, XF-$16.50. I would check ebay completed listing and see if any have sold recently or are selling currently as CV is not necessarily what the current market value is.
