In 1999 or 2000 when I bought my State Quarters album, I also bought a Littleton Lincoln album 1959-1998. I only bought it because I liked the way it looked and I though it might be fun to collect these from circulation and that it would actually be possible. Well, last week I finally, after 7 or 8 years got the 1959P at 7-Eleven.

I'm happy for you it is always nice to finish a set how long did it take you to find the 1970-s small date I have found two of them that was the hard one for me.

You know,I have been working on this same project.I went through a 5 gallon jug half full of cents, and found every coin I needed, but the 2001 P and 2006P.
While were on this subject,I have a question. While I found several 1982's,there are spaces for COP. Large and small date, and Zn large and small date?I assume the COP is for copper, but what does the Zn stand for?
I will have to obtain these somewhere else, for the same reason I am not any good with error coins..my eyes just can't focus on them clear enough to spot them myself.

Oh no, I'm not done with it. It's only about half full. If I paid more attention to my change it probably would be done but, there's no hurry. Sn31 ZN is zinc. 1982 was a transitional year. So some of the 1982's were copper (technically brass) and some were zincs.

Thanks,I just figured that out.Two of my folders are Whitmans, and the other is an H.E.Harris.
One starts at 1909-1940 Another at 1941-1971 The other at 1975-2000.
There are spaces left for extras in the one starting 1941-1971,so with a few years gap,it doesn't show for a 1970 small date... Hmm...Are there any others I should be looking for besides these and the 1963?
It's funny how those coins just show up like your 1959P.After all that search through thousands of cents,I found the 3rd to last one I needed ( a 1985 D) at the very last portion of the pile. You'd think there would have been several of them in there.
I still have my change out,if you need some to help fill your holes, just let me know. :) sn31.

There's also cracked skulls--die cracks in Abes head. For those they usually have to be close to Unc to see them well since the crack becomes the new highest point on the coin and wears away pretty quick. There's also spiked heads which are die cracks extending from Abes head to the rim. There's also a "bullet to the head" which is a small piece out of the die, in the field behind Abe's head and it really looks like a bullet. These things are usually on coins from the 50's and are the product of failed dies. For some reason, which I've yet to discover, they had a lot of die failures for Lincoln cents in the 50's. But they're fun to look for if you like them. Oh yeah, there's also a "San Jose" which is a 1954S with a die crack next to the Mintmark that looks like a J. Gary I just checked the lotto numbers. Looks like I won't be picking up any 14-D's or 09S VDB's this week either.
