I have inherited a 100 francs coin depicting the lucky angel. Unlike the other coins I found online it reads "MA QUE DE JEU"around the angel and on the other side it reads "IMITATATION LUDWIG CHR. LAUER". I'm not sure what this really means if someone could help me out thta would be great

``IMITIATION`` means replica. It will be a replica or fantasy piece probably gold plated. Sorry ):
Rest in Peace

Hmm, that "ma que" should read "marque", and that term (marque de jeu) basically means play money or jeton. The Lauers were counting token makers, see here http://www.coincommunity.com/forum/...PIC_ID=29075 for example. In my opinion, but that is just a guess, your piece is a replica of a Lauer token ...
