Well I picked this one up for a few dollars. There are a few out of focus "spots" that are on the slab not the coin. What do you think the grade is on this? Think it could make 69? The spot on the rim at 12 o'clock is on the slab The spots around 6 and 9 o'clock are also on the slab. There is also a spot on the slab right above the "A" in dollar

I'm confused. Not an unusual occurence actually, but a tad more than usual here.

I didn't realize they had a different obverse in 2008, looks familiar but I can't quite place it.

Quote: Why is the first pic of my penny? It wasnt like that the other day when I posted this... You need to use unique file names for the images you upload on the same day (the date is appended to the front of the file name). You overwrote your first '002_opt.jpg' file upload with another.

Grading MS+ is not in my skill set. However, I have no problem giving this a bump since I took you off course earlier.

I don't think anybody knows how to grade these satin things *shakes fist at mint for silly idea*. I do know that many of the satin finish coins I see show a lot of light contact marks, and I see few on yours. They also tend to grade higher than regular circulation coins, though I can't grade modern coins anyway. I guess yours is probably some big number like MS68.

you need to wobble this coin to see the hairline scratches which may or may not exist on the coin. It is probably within the MS-67/MS-68 spectrum. What did you pay?

I dont see any hairlines at all. Its in an ANACS slab graded 69. I think I only paid like $3-$4 for it.
