Hello world coin experts,

Although I'm pretty good at world coin identification, I'm going to have to swallow my pride and ask for help on this one. The most distinguishing feature is the off-center circle with a non-centered five point star in it. There is a similar off-center circle on the other side with a bit of the Arabic/Persian/whatever script in it. I didn't see anything quite like it in the 1901-2000 SCoWC. Perhaps it is from before 1901? The coin is around 18.7 mm and is probably composed of brass. I can probably find a way to provide better images if you think it will make a difference for your effort:

Thanks, svslav! It appears that somebody else before you has been through this, too. I wonder if anybody who administers this site has considered having a "frequently asked about" gallery? It would have been great to avoid having to ask about a token that has been asked about a couple of times before. Perhaps I'll suggest it (in case one of the administrators isn't already reading this).
Rest in Peace
