Hello I am look for a rough price on this set. It is a 1965 Proof like / BU 4 piece Dollar Set. I know you can not grade it exactly from a picture. Just looking for a little help since I have seen pricing all over the road on these coins. Thank You

That's a really neat set where you have all of the varieties noted. Where did you acquire this?

There are so many '65 dollars out there that unless one of yours is MS65,they are bullion value coins. On an impulse I bought the same set you have pictured plus a medium beads in a 2x2 from my bullion dealer for $100.

I inherited a collection about 5 years ago. I am recouping from surgery and sorting through some of my collection and just trying to figure out what direction I what to go with it from here. I have a lot of doubles of sets so that's why I am looking for some pricing

Bullion value would be about $80.00 total for the 4 coins. From a dealer or buyer of silver you would probably get $60.00 but selling them on ebay you may get $100.00 less the fees. The only way to do better than this would be if one or more of the coins graded MS-64 or better.

There very common silver dollars that are worth just bullion value. If you list it on ebay with the nice capital plastic case you will probably get something in the $80-$100 range.

DBM Thank you for your help. It appears to me that the coins are not grading out all that high. Thanks

Does anyone know if those were packed personally or by the mint?

The holder appears to say "Capitol" on it, so probably packed by the dealer that bought the holder.
