It looks like a Claudius II with a Consecratio reverse. Possible RIC 266. Here is an example from my collection:

It looks more like Gallienus. Possibly RIC 233:

AE Antoninianus. Rome mint. GALLIENVS AVG, radiate head right / LIBERTAS AVG, Libertas standing facing, head left, holding cap & transverse sceptre

Like bobbyhelmet said yesterday on another thread, many of the portraits of Roman rulers are distinctive enough that after a while of looking at them they become familiar. As for the Richard Plant catalog, it's a good resource, but there are are also good and free resources on-line which can help with quick attribution. Wildwinds.com is just one of those resources along with acsearch.info, dirtyoldcoins.com, Helvetica's and others. Once you are more familiar with the hobby, you will get very knowledgeable of all these resources.

Again, I would like to welcome you not only to this site but to the hobby as well. It's always good to have new blood. AND, we all really enjoy attributing coins you may have trouble with.

Regards,
