Hi coincollect1 => well, they're trying to say that it is a VF Modified Portrait ... and it certainly could be correct? (Charlton catalogue has a VF Modifed $20 listed for $30) ... however, although $30 is in the ball-park, it is on the high-end of the ball-park seating!

... but wah? ... are you gonna haggle over a couple of bucks, or fill the hole in the album? (and that merely depends upon what type of dude you are => some people live for getting the "ultimate deal" and some people just want to fill that hole!) ... everybody is different

... hey, if it if a Fine, Very-Fine, or Extra-Fine makes a bit of a diff, but not that much:

Fine = $24
Very Fine = $30
Extra Fine = $40

... have fun hunting!

Okay, from what I can see on the scans, this note has slightly rounded corners, has signs of multiple folds, horizontally and vertically, I don't see any significant tears or any piece missing and can't see any stains. Colours are not bad. It is definitely a lower grade than XF. Seems to me like a VF note. Might be F, but it's hard to see on the scan, maybe there are tears which I am not seeing. I would say its grade is definitely higher than VG in any case. Anyone disagree with this ?

Baanos I think I would agree with you looking at the bill shows all the markings of a VG mind you I am no expert but looking at bills I have bought in the last 2 months that were all sold as VF mine all have square corners and the fols are very light and not so many where this one the middle fold at the bottom looks to be alsmot broke through, but a nice filler bill thats for sure.ship
