Hello,
I am separating my collection of coins by country of origin. But I came across this coin that I can't find anywhere, and I don't remember where I got it from. Can anyone help me? thank you

Hello, pentelle, and welcome!

It's from Egypt and it's a parking token. Here's a previous thread about one.

Hi pentelle

to CCF

It is a token from BUT I dont agree with that it is a parking token. It is a transportation token that used to be used on our Tramway and Buses in the early 80's. It is made of Aluminum

The writing in the first pic is "Cairo Governorate" and in the 2nd pic "Public Transport Authority" in "Cairo"

P.S. the word Cairo is repeated 3 times.

This is one of the rare moments when I know something that Sap doesn't know (usually it is somthing related to the Arabic language and not to coins)
