Sriyogipublications New Member India 4 Posts	Posted 02/08/2012 03:23 am Dear all, I will start posting coins pics I have taken in my musuem visits.Later on will post pics of my collection as I have little idea about most of the coins in it.Most of the images I post will be related to India. I took the foll pic of mughal emperor Akbars gold mohur in british musuem.Did a lot of manipulation in GIMP.I have a canon SX130is camera.any tips on better photo taking with this particular camera appreciated. Sriyogipublications New Member India 4 Posts	Posted 02/08/2012 05:15 am Svsalv, Very true...Also unless you have a DSLR or similar with the lenses,the cabinet glass and lighting plays havoc with the photo.I have this problem magnified when I try to take pics of sculptures behind glass cabinets. War Nickel Valued Member United States 172 Posts	Posted 02/08/2012 06:48 am I never heard of GIMP...have you tried Irfanview, it is quite good, easy for beginners, but powerful. With it you can adjust gamma, change color pallets, etc etc...nice photo! Report this Post to the Staff
