HELP! Searched and searched with zero luck. I thought it was Ancient Greece, but couldn't find anything. I defer to the forum.

There isn't enough detail to be able to say for sure, but I think it might be a Roman Provincial. It has two interesting counter marks on the obverse that might help to ID it.

Appreciate your suggestion and will do more searching there. I find the countermarks interesting as well. Unfortunately, there is nothing I see on the reverse to help me (photo may be upside down). The coin is thick. Weight 10.3gr and measures approx. 27mm.

Could be, sometimes they would put the image of the king/emperor's wife on the reverse with the king/emperor on the obverse.
