Until now,all my silver has been 1-oz coins,Eagles,Leafs and Philharmonics but yesterday I got my first 10-oz bar and must admit,it feels good in the hand. I got it from silvertowne,a good deal because shipping is included and there is no upcharge for credit card use. I am going to start buying one every month for the rest of the year"good Lord willing, and the creek don't rise"! My wife really thought it looked impressive too, that's always a bonus!

Those are impressive bars to have. It is really nice to see that much silver in a single object too.

Sweet, Hock! Well done... and bringing the Mrs. on-board is great too.

I haven't got any 10-oz. bars but do have a flock of their 5-oz. bars. They are very nice too. I might try some of the bigger bars once the prices pull back a bit. Love to "buy the dips"!

We ordered 2 10 oz bars from Silvertowne based on information from this site about the free shipping and no upcharge on credit cards. They should be here any day - very excited to get them. We have a couple of 1 oz and 5 oz bars, so this should round out the set!

Good to see more silver investors arround, I really dont belive that the majoritty of peopple know what gold and silver is, its money and walth to me as I guess it is for you too! If everyone else figures that out well all do a lot better, but they will, in the big depression they figured it out only too late, when they wanted to buy gold at the peak at that time, there wasnt much avayllable, so they bought at any price!

Good job, Terrib. I'm sure that you will be VERY happy with the quality of those SilverTowne 10-oz. bars. They will seem MASSIVE compared to your other silver bars!

I like em, they take up less room, seem good for long term stacking.

The 10 oz bars are very impressive - really dwarf the 1 oz bar! I thought Silvertowne had a very good price. Just checked tonight & a 10 oz bar is $384.00, no shipping. Wish I had the funds to order one!

Buying a 10 oz. silver bar for $20 over spot is a pretty good buy. That's only $2 per oz. over spot. It is difficult for dealers to stay in business if they sell for much less than this.

Just for fun, I went back and checked my inventory because I didn't remember ever buying any of these; but then I saw one listed. Got it 3 years ago. Something tells me I won't find that deal again anytime soon. Guess I should have bought a couple more, huh?

Northwest Territory Mint 10 oz. Silver Bar (1) 2/26/09 $165.50 :)
