Just noticed that two 1875 Swedish 2 ore pieces have distinctly different date styles. The right hand one seems to be a wider date than the left one. Also the 5 is a little high and slightly tilted on the right one and the 7 is slightly tilted as well. The 8s in the dates are very different, the left one has small oval shaped loops while the right one has fuller round loops.

Anyone noticed these before?

Those two are very clearly from different dies. From what we've seen of your coins and mine, I believe each die was individually dated for the last 2 digits. Here are two more 2 Ore from 1875, both 75/74--but different dies.

Thanks for sharing the overdate. With the 8s on my two, it looks like the 8s were separately cut as well since they are significantly different.

You're right! I didn't even look at the 8s, but comparing to a few coins on ebay, I see there are two styles. That's interesting. Either it means the whole dates were punched, or there were two types of hubs for this year.
