One of the few coins which I have not yet been able to attribute. Diameter is 24.47mm and weight is 9.87g.
Any and all information much appreciated.

Sorry, I tried playing with the image, but still can't make out the legend. Perhaps someone with more computer knowledge can get something.

About the only thing I can tell about this coin is that it appears to be provincial.

I inverted the reverse to see if some letters might be easier for someone to determine.
I'm not sure if the reverse legend went all the way around the coin or not.

I think it is an Augustus Ae As from the Moneyer issues. I can't figure out the details though.

The only thing I can say for sure is that it is an AS of Augustus. There are a number of RIC numbers related to this large SC reverse. But without being able to see the full legends on the obverse and reverse it will be very difficult to say which one.

Thank you, all, for your input. Without being able to see the full legends I agree is impossible to determine which of the several RIC numbers featuring Augustus and the large SC it is related to. In my research I found that wildwinds.com and ancientcoins.ca provided excellent reference material.
