It only took about 40 rolls, but I have almost one complete State Quarter set, all of the Denver Minted National Parks, only one from Philly...and one lonely 1964 beat to snot quarter.

Nice finds! One silver is better than no silver. However, I am more pleased to hear that you have almost completed the Statehood Quarter set.

I've almost complete my Statehood Quarter set as well. This through roll hunting in Canada no less!

Oddly enough, I had zero intention of getting a Statehood Quarter set going. After my first shot of roll searching, my wife bought me a coin bank that would sort the coins into the tubes, after manually turning the crank. I actually thought it was a little silly, but my two year old daughter LOVES to "play coins" we have been going through quarter rolls at a pretty regular rate. I would do pretty much anything she wanted to, but its pretty awesome that we have figured out something cool that excites both of us. I am probably going to start another set of the State Quarters for her younger brother, and then perhaps even another one to see if I can sell for any premium. Might find a taker at the local auction.

However, at the end of my Washington quarter Album there was slots for coins past 1999 so I started to put those State Quarters in them. Then I got a free Quarter Album so I put in blank Quarter pages and started to put those State Quarters in them. Now have about 3 of thoes State Quarter Albums going. I really don't like those but once started too late to quit.

My son (almost four) likes to play coins as well. He counts and sorts them into his own arbitrary piles. At some point I will get him to sort by date (he can already read the numbers of the date, so we are off to a good start).

Get him started early so he won't just pawn my collection off when I eventually pass it on to him
